Romance and innovation during the Dutch Lily Days at De Jong Lelies
On Tuesday 3 June, De Jong Lelies opened its doors for the annual Dutch Lily Days – a festive week in which the lily in all its splendor takes center stage. This year, the opening had an extra romantic touch: two brides walked among the blooming show to promote a special type of lily – the Liber Lilies.
These elegant pollen-free Orientals are specially developed with comfort and beauty in mind. Thanks to the absence of pollen, these lilies are not only stain-free; ideal for white wedding dresses and light interiors.
The two brides, dressed in stylish white dresses, formed a living canvas for these unique lilies. Floral artist Paul Wijkmeijer provided the finishing touch with graceful bridal bouquets in which the Liber Lilies shone. The bouquets showed how versatile and refined these lilies are: romantic, timeless and yet contemporary.
With Liber Lilies we offer a fresh take on the classic Oriental. They are not only suitable for the bridal market, but also ideal for florists, hotels and consumers who appreciate luxurious flowers without the hassle of pollen stains.
The Dutch Lily Days are the perfect opportunity to discover new varieties and gain inspiration. The Liber Lilies proved on this opening day that they are ready to conquer hearts – in bouquets, at weddings and in living rooms.
